Born from founder Stephen Recktenwald’s experience converting a retired 1999 Ford E350 ambulance, Freedom Fans LLC makes integrated roof fans and skylights for camper vans. Its flagship Freedom Fan combines hidden perimeter ventilation with an unobstructed skylight, bringing airflow, daylight, and views of the sky to life on the road. The design is being developed by engineers and fellow van dwellers who have experienced van-life challenges firsthand.
