Founded in 1991 by Gillian and Malcolm Rae to serve the narrow-web label market, GEW (EC) Limited designs and manufactures UV curing systems for printing, coating and industrial applications. Still operating as a family business, GEW produces its equipment at a purpose-built facility in Crawley and supports tens of thousands of installations worldwide through offices, subsidiaries and distributors. Its long-term service extends from laboratory testing and retrofits to maintenance of systems dating back to the company’s first year.
