Founded by twin brothers Scott and Mark Huffman in a central Ohio chicken coop in 1999, Graywacke designs and manufactures rugged portable power equipment, NATO cables, and custom connectivity solutions for military users. The company remains in Lexington, Ohio, where it operates from a 33,000-square-foot facility and produces its products in the United States. Its small-batch production and custom design work grew from an original Marine Corps project to replace expensive disposable radio batteries.
