Founded in Canton in 1926, Hannon Electric Company repairs, rebuilds and sells electro-mechanical equipment for industrial customers, with particular depth in electric motors and related systems. Now in its third generation, the company operates repair facilities across Ohio and in Pennsylvania, including large shops equipped to handle machinery weighing up to 200 tons. Its Hanco International division, formed in 1951 to serve mining and power companies, continues to sell and service equipment worldwide.
