Founded by Jeremy McCool in 2011 as a Columbia University graduate-school project, HEVO develops and manufactures wireless electric-vehicle charging systems that let drivers park and power up without a plug. The company’s Rezonant platform combines vehicle and ground equipment with the Journey app, and HEVO says it manufactures its products in the USA. Its wireless charging technology was the first to satisfactorily achieve both SAE J2954 and UL 2750 testing qualifications in 2020.
