Since starting in 2014 in the basement of its Mt. Lebanon taproom, Hitchhiker Brewing Co. has grown into a Pittsburgh brewery with a second home in a former Fort Pitt Brewing Co. building in Sharpsburg. The company uses that history to balance traditional beer-making with a willingness to explore unfamiliar flavors, while keeping its original neighborhood pub part of the story.
Allegheny City BrewingSince opening in Pittsburgh’s historic Deutschtown neighborhood in 2016, Allegheny City Brewing has brewed its beer onsite at a seven-barrel brewery.
