Founded in 1979 by Aaron “Pap” Rice Sr., family-owned Holden Machine & Fabrication in Holden, West Virginia, rebuilds and fabricates power-transmission equipment while supplying industrial customers across the central Appalachian region. The Rice family, including sons Aaron Jr. and James, continues to operate the business as part of a three-company enterprise with five distribution centers, multi-million-dollar inventories, and 24/7 delivery and mobile technical support. Its fabrication facility is equipped for large-scale machining and custom work, including rollers up to 48 inches in diameter and 25 feet long.
