The Littman family’s lighting story began in 1939, when Brooklyn inventor William Littman started a garage-based business that later moved to New York’s Hudson River Valley. His grandson David Littman founded Hudson Valley Lighting in the 1980s and remains closely involved in the group, which designs quality-focused fixtures for interior designers, architects, and other professionals shaping residential and commercial spaces.
