Humtown is a family-owned, three-generation manufacturer whose roots go back to 1959, when Russell Lamoncha opened a pattern shop in Columbiana, Ohio. Today, the company supplies foundries with conventional and 3D-printed sand cores and molds; its additive division began in 2014 and moved to a larger Boardman, Ohio facility in 2024. Humtown also makes the UNItube blow-tube system for core-making operations.

Kore MartSince 1981, Kore Mart has supplied foundries with custom cores, resin-coated sand and related production services. Based in Hamburg, Pennsylvania, the company also operates what it describes as the country’s only sand-recycling service, processing used foundry sand for reuse.
