Founded in 2013 as HYSUCAT USA, Rock Tavern-based HYFOIL Marine builds hydrofoil-assisted catamarans for recreational, commercial, and municipal use. Its New York team works from the foil-supported catamaran technology of naval architect Professor Gunter Hoppe, producing modular boats that can run on combustion or electric power and are designed to reduce drag while smoothing the ride.
