Started by Chris and Cyndi in a basement in June 2017, Hyggelight makes candles designed to become something else: after the flame is gone, the plantable seed label can grow wildflowers and the ceramic vessel can be reused. The company grew from craft-fair sales to national attention after a 2020 Good Morning America Earth Day feature, and is now a Certified B Corporation focused on reducing everyday waste while making cozy gifts.
