Founded in 1947 by Irwin Auman in his father-in-law’s garage, I. Auman Machine Company has grown into a family-owned manufacturer specializing in precision CNC machining, inspection, and engineering support. The Lebanon, Pennsylvania, company built its early reputation machining alloy-steel castings for M60 tanks and now handles large, close-tolerance parts with equipment including a boring mill for pieces longer than 100 inches. Timothy Auman became the second-generation owner in 1986, and the business is continuing into its third generation under Jordan Auman’s leadership.
