Ilegal Mezcal grew out of Café No Sé, the Antigua Guatemala bar where founder John Rexer first began bringing mezcal from Oaxaca around 2004. Today, the company works with fourth-generation mezcaleros in Oaxaca while carrying the music-driven, cross-border spirit of its unusual beginnings into community fundraising and cultural events.
Entre Nōs MezcalFounded by friends Alexa and Krizia, Entre Nōs Mezcal makes artisanal 100% agave mezcal rooted in Oaxaca’s traditions. Its Espadín agave is cultivated by Master Héctor Gómez in Yaxe, cooked in earthen ovens, milled with a tahona, and double-distilled in copper.
