For more than 20 years, Imperial Mailbox Systems has manufactured cast-aluminum mailboxes and street signs in Millbrook, Alabama, helping planned communities give their streets a consistent, durable look. The company grew from a four-person operation in a sub-5,000-square-foot facility to a 50,000-square-foot manufacturer shipping more than 1,200 mailbox systems and accessories each week. Imperial also worked with the U.S. Postal Service to co-author USPS Standard 7b, the standard governing curbside mailbox manufacture, and operates through a nationwide dealer network.
