Since 1958, Baldwinsville’s Indian Springs Manufacturing Co., Inc. has designed and made emergency equipment for chlorine and other hazardous materials, including the Chlorine Institute’s emergency kits. What began as a small Central New York job shop now combines U.S.-based manufacturing with in-house engineering, prototyping and testing to develop custom containment solutions for cylinders, tank cars and industrial containers used around the world. Indian Springs has been a Chlorine Institute member since 1968 and received the 2015 Robert P. Turkington Innovation and Technology Award.
