• Brainard Rivet CompanyFounded in 1916 to make fasteners for wooden keg hoops, Girard, Ohio’s Brainard Rivet Company now produces made-to-print cold-formed rivets and specialty fasteners for industrial customers. The 100% employee-owned company has manufactured more than 854 million pounds of cold-headed fasteners, with a 65,000-square-foot plant that makes most of its tooling in-house.
