Founded in 1890 as the Phoenix Oil Company, JTM Products is a family-owned manufacturer of industrial lubricants, soaps and specialty chemical products. Its Phoenix pipe-joint lubricants and Murphy’s tire-mounting lubricants have been established product lines for decades, while the Solon, Ohio company also develops custom formulations and provides contract blending for soaps and lubricants. JTM has focused on industrial water-soluble lubricants since selling the Murphy Oil Soap business to Colgate-Palmolive in 1991.
