Founded in 1986 by Bo Valeur Jessen and Mads Vernon Jørgensen, JVL A/S develops and manufactures integrated servo and stepper motors for motion-control systems from its 3,000-square-metre facility in Birkerød, Denmark. Its distinctive MAC and ServoStep designs combine the motor, encoder, drive and control electronics in one compact unit, while its engineers also develop customized equipment for complex machine-building applications.
