Founded in 1988 as a part-time Baltimore shop, K & W Finishing provides commercial print-finishing services for printers nationwide. The company has grown from a Miehle Vertical and a 10×15 Windmill into a 25,000-square-foot facility, while its in-house steel-rule die shop—established in 1998 after acquiring Smith Steel Rule Die—now complements its traditional bindery work with laser die-cutting for intricate designs. K & W is also a second-generation business, with Kathy Holmes identified as a second-generation binder.
