Founded in Rochester in 1970, KEK Design has grown from a one-person industrial design consultancy into a multidisciplinary firm that develops, engineers and prototypes products for medical and defense technology. Its in-house model and fabrication shop lets the team move quickly from concept to physical prototype, while its work includes products such as Carestream’s mobile X-ray system and L3Harris tactical radios. Now in its third generation of Kober ownership, KEK has completed more than 1,000 projects over five decades.
