Ken Forging, Inc. grew from Richard A. Kovach’s 20-by-20-foot Cleveland garage in 1970 into an American-owned manufacturer of forged industrial hardware, best known for its eyebolts. Now based in Jefferson, Ohio, the company employs more than 140 people in a 500,000-square-foot plant and can produce custom forgings weighing up to 250 pounds. Its integrated, largely in-house operation supports modified products, full lot traceability and fast turnaround for customers across industrial markets.
