Born in 1945 from a wartime reupholstery solution using parachute off-cuts, Kirwin & Simpson Seating is a fourth-generation family business that designs, manufactures, installs and refurbishes custom theatre and auditorium seating. From its UK base, the company supports venues across the UK and internationally, with work ranging from London’s West End theatres to New York’s St Ann’s Warehouse. Its in-house workshop and heritage casts also allow it to restore century-old seats and carry out repairs with minimal disruption to busy venues.
