Kool Seal makes reflective roof coatings and repair products designed to protect roofs, reduce interior temperatures, and save energy. Founded in Cleveland in 1906 as Acorn & Refining, the company introduced the Kool Seal brand in 1920 and later developed aluminum and elastomeric reflective roof coatings. Now part of Sherwin-Williams, Kool Seal continues its century-plus roof-coating business as an Energy Star partner.
