Valente—known locally as Valente Lumber—has grown from a mountain sawmill into a family-owned sawmill, lumber yard and millwork shop in Averill Park. The company remains a full-service custom sawmill, with third- and fourth-generation Valentes producing lumber and custom millwork for regional contractors, wholesalers and furniture makers. Its mill shop is especially known for matching existing trim and making custom built-up moldings to order.
