Since opening in Naples in 1976, Lake Country Woodworkers has made precision wood components, equipment and custom furnishings for other manufacturers. The women-owned enterprise, now spanning two generations of the Wood and Carlson families, operates from a 45,000-square-foot facility and is known for tailoring production to each customer. Its shop occupies the former Maxfield Grape House, a surviving 19th-century wine-cellar building in Naples’ historic district.
