Founded in 1979 by Chick Maute, Lakeland Polymers is a family-owned and operated business that recycles industrial plastic scrap, off-grade materials, and surplus inventory into reusable feedstock. Now led by second-generation brothers Mike and Dave Maute, the company handles more than 100 million pounds of plastic scrap annually and supports suppliers and customers across the United States, Mexico, Europe, and the Far East. Its operation includes 60,000 square feet of warehouse space and long-term recycling programs that help keep industrial plastics out of landfills.
