MIMI PROBERFounded in 2014 by New York designer Mimi Prober, MIMI PROBER creates handcrafted clothing, textiles, and fine jewelry by turning antique materials into sustainable modern heirlooms. Its atelier combines recovered 18th- and early-20th-century textiles with local luxury fibers and botanical dyes, preserving the stories and handwork embedded in each one-of-a-kind piece. Blue Thistle FibersAt the confluence of West Virginia’s Gauley and New Rivers, Blue Thistle Fibers runs a small-batch fiber mill and natural dye studio that turns wool and alpaca into prepared fiber, felt, and plant-dyed yarn. Clare and Sara build the family business around Appalachian making, sourcing ethically and using dyes grown on their farm, gathered locally, or foraged from the surrounding landscape. Minda LivingPhiladelphia-based Minda Living creates ethically made home goods and apparel, with a distinctive focus on handcrafted pieces made from natural fibers, vintage textiles, and responsibly sourced leather. Its woven collection is produced in partnership with Moroccan master craftsman Abdelati, who has spent more than 50 years honing his craft on foot-pedal looms built from reclaimed wood.
