Born from a Western New York onion grower’s need for better harvesting equipment, Lee Shuknecht & Sons has designed and built custom onion harvesters and related agricultural machinery in Elba since 1974. Founded by Joan and Lee Shuknecht, the family-owned business is now run by their children Marc and Wendy, with a third generation preparing to carry it forward. Its fabrication and machine shop also repairs and rebuilds agricultural and construction equipment, including obsolete parts that can be reproduced in-house.
