Born in South Philadelphia in the 1970s, Leonetti’s makes handcrafted Italian strombolis and calzones for convenient retail meals. Its dough still follows a family recipe more than 100 years old, and the company was the first to package stromboli for retail sale after originally delivering them to Philadelphia’s Italian restaurants. Today, Leonetti’s foods are sold through retailers across the United States while retaining their South Philly character.
