Founded in 1999 by woodworker Dan Schlabach, family-owned Little Cottage Co. builds made-in-the-USA DIY kits for outdoor structures, from storage sheds and playhouses to greenhouses and animal shelters. Its distinctive approach is to ship materials pre-cut, labeled, primed, or panelized so families and do-it-yourself builders can assemble and customize the finished building themselves. The company began with playhouses inspired by children’s smiles and has grown into a broader maker of structures designed for practical use and family memories.
