Since 1978, Maple Lane Farms has grown Christmas trees and hydroponic Bibb lettuce on its Preston, Connecticut farm, while also welcoming visitors for seasonal farm traditions. Its 5,000-square-foot greenhouse produces more than 250,000 living lettuce plants a year in a GAP-certified, pesticide- and fungicide-free operation. The farm also hosts events in a renovated barn overlooking its Christmas-tree fields and offers lodging in a restored 1791 colonial house.
