Mark Hershey Farms, Inc. is a South Lebanon County feed mill that has manufactured custom feeds since 1936. The family-friendly mill traces its origins to Mark C. Hershey’s chicken-hatching business and later became known for steamed and rolled soybeans, or “Soyflakes,” developed in 1963. Now owned by local grain farmer Daryl Alger, the company continues to serve regional agriculture from a facility with capacity for 1.3 million bushels of corn and beans.
