Founded in 2025 as Huntington’s first public-facing glassblowing studio, Marrowbone Glassworks makes contemporary glass decor and tableware in small batches while offering the public hands-on experiences with hot glass. Created by former workers from West Virginia’s last handblown glass tableware factory, the studio combines Appalachian factory techniques with one-of-a-kind artistry to keep the region’s 150-year glass tradition active. Its Huntington shop also hosts the work of West Virginia glass veteran David Osburn, whose mold-blown designs reflect decades at Blenko and other studios.
