Byrd Institute, MAMC has served the region for 36 years, with 36 staff members bringing more than 750 years of industry experience and facilities containing over $24 million in shared-use equipment. Its work has trained more than 27,000 people and now includes serving as a National Hub for Manufacturing Apprenticeships.

Gannon University MakerSpaceIn downtown Erie, Gannon University MakerSpace turns concepts into prototypes, custom parts and short production runs through a hands-on manufacturing hub serving students, faculty and business partners. The 10,000-square-foot facility inside the Center for Manufacturing and Technology pairs engineering guidance with advanced additive manufacturing, metalworking, woodworking and electronics capabilities.
