For more than 30 years, Butler’s Mechling Bookbindery repaired and rebound books—particularly family and pulpit Bibles—while also helping customers turn their own stories into published books. Its work included restoring old bindings such as Bibles and Webster’s dictionaries, alongside guidance for self-publishing and archived files for reprints. The bindery is closing its doors April 30 and is no longer accepting orders.
