Since 1934, family-owned Melvina Can Machinery has rebuilt, tooled and supplied can seamers and related machinery from its Queensbury, New York, operation. Founded by James G. Cahill after wartime work making cans, ammunition boxes and tank treads, the company now has second- and third-generation Cahills in management. Its long experience rebuilding used can machinery, including more than 60 years building compound liners, remains central to the business.
