Merida Studio creates original rugs and textile artwork entirely in-house at its Fall River workshop, where designers, weavers, and craftspeople turn natural fibers into made-to-order pieces. Since 2017, the studio has collaborated with Paris-based artist and weaver Sylvie Johnson through a nine-year artist residency that produced its limited-edition Atelier series. Its work is designed as more than floor covering: durable textiles intended to be lived with, conserved, and passed on.
