Born in a Hagerstown alley more than 90 years ago, Mitchell Machine Shop now provides contract machining from its Greencastle, Pennsylvania facility, combining CNC and manual equipment for both short runs and production parts. The shop’s history includes making the Twirlit paper hole punch and converting machinery to World War II defense work before expanding into components for heavy equipment, medical, and other industrial applications. Mitchell’s experienced workforce—most employees have been with the company at least 10 years—supports its focus on close-tolerance work and dependable delivery.
