Founded in Bridgeport in 1945 as a one-man auto-glass shop, Modern Plastics now distributes high-performance plastics and produces custom-fabricated and machined plastic parts from its Shelton headquarters. Its medical plastics division is a particular specialty, including lot-controlled materials and authorized North American distribution of Evonik’s VESTAKEEP implantable PEEK.
