Founded 30 years ago by architect and award-winning furniture designer Tom Shiner, Museum & Library Furniture makes understated wood and steel furniture for museums, libraries, and other public spaces. The company grew from Shiner’s design of The Museum Stool®, created for gallery education programs and now used in collections including the Blanton Museum. Its furniture is made around solid American wood, accessible design, and durability, with installations ranging from Monticello to the National Museum of African American History and Culture.
