Founded by inventor Dave Segal after a friend’s spinal-cord injury, Naqi Logix develops earbud-based neural interfaces that translate biosignals, facial micro-gestures and head movements into hands-free, voice-free control of digital devices. The Vancouver company’s platform is designed to make computers, wheelchairs, robotics and other connected systems more accessible without cameras, screens or implants. Naqi’s work has earned recognition including TIME’s Best Inventions of 2023 and a 2024 Gold Edison Award for Social & Cultural Impact.
