Founded by Dr. T. Venkatesan in 1989, Neocera develops thin-film deposition equipment and processes built around pulsed laser deposition (PLD) and pulsed electron deposition (PED). The Beltsville company grew from superconductivity research and remains active in materials research, helping move complex thin-film processes from laboratories into industrial applications. Its PLD and PED systems are used by universities, national laboratories, and corporate R&D centers in more than 30 countries.
