Since Walter von Nessen introduced the swing-arm lamp in 1927, Nessen Lighting has designed and fabricated architectural and residential lighting with a distinctly functional, clean-lined character. The company still manufactures that original swing-arm design while developing new fixtures from solid brass and other carefully selected materials, and it accommodates custom modifications for residential, commercial, and institutional projects. Nessen is the successor to Nessen Studios and Nessen Lamps Inc., carrying von Nessen’s modernist lighting tradition into its expanded facility and current collections.
