Born from the Brooklyn research work that introduced tomographic imaging in 1988, NIRx Medical Technologies develops functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) systems and software for neuroscience research. Its platforms range from wearable, wireless NIRSport2 instruments to scalable NIRScout laboratory systems, with support for multimodal studies and custom configurations. NIRx says its systems have contributed to more than 1,000 publications and are backed by a global team of fNIRS researchers, engineers, and scientific support staff.
