Olde York Homes grew from founder Gary Geiselman’s restoration of a neglected Federal-period townhouse into a York, Pennsylvania design-build company specializing in the restoration and renovation of historic and distinctive homes. Formed in 1981, it renovated more than 30 homes in York’s downtown historic district during its first decade and now works on structures ranging from the 18th century to new construction. Its custom shop grew from a need for locally unavailable millwork and now produces cabinetry and architectural details suited to each home’s period.
Village Restorations & Consulting, IncFrom its south-central Pennsylvania shop, Village Restorations & Consulting, Inc. restores 17th-, 18th- and early 19th-century log, stone and timber structures, while also building historically accurate reproductions and museum exhibits.
