Package Free makes everyday laundry and cleaning products designed to reduce waste, a mission that grew from founder Lauren Singer’s zero-waste experiment of fitting her non-compostable, non-recyclable trash into a 16-ounce mason jar. Founded in 2014, the company is especially known for its three-ingredient laundry detergent and its development of a plastic-free laundry pod made with water-soluble wood pulp and cellulose paper. Its formulas are made and packaged in the USA, including at a partner facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
