Founded by cabinetmaker John Packard after his apprenticeship with master craftsman Ake Tugel, Packard Cabinetry creates custom kitchen and architectural cabinetry through design studios in Sea Cliff, New York, and North Carolina. The business opened in Sea Cliff in 1977 and grew from traditional furniture making and antique restoration into a design-and-installation practice led by John and Rae Packard, a Certified Kitchen Designer. Its craftsmen have also restored furniture for collectors and institutions, while the company’s portfolio now spans Long Island, the Asheville area, and the Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill region.
