From a three-person shop behind its founder’s house in Mt. Aetna, Peiffer Machine Services has grown into a third-generation, woman-owned company that repairs and rebuilds machine tools for manufacturers across the United States. Founded by Paul Peiffer in 1956, the company still specializes in restoring aging equipment—including precision way work—while its 25,000-square-foot facility supports larger rebuilds and custom machine work. President and sole owner Kelly Ressler carries forward the Ressler family’s legacy with a team that has worked on more than 5,000 machines.
