Founded in Zelienople in 1968 by Garrett D. Orr, Sr. and his wife Pat, Penna Flame Industries is a family-owned heat treating and manufacturing company. It began by providing flame hardening for the steel industry and has continued under family leadership, adding roll manufacturing and robotic hardening capabilities over the years. The company also operates an on-site machine shop and provides machining and heat treating together for customer parts.
