Founded in 2002 by college friends Howard Field and Kevin McCurdy, Picaboo turns customers’ digital photos into personalized photo books and other printed keepsakes. The company began in Palo Alto after being conceived on the Stanford University Golf Course, grew past one million customers in 2012, and later expanded into Picaboo Yearbooks and custom photo gifts. Today, its online design tools support creations ranging from seamless lay-flat books to calendars, cards, canvas prints, and photo puzzles.
